PUC Charity Golf Tournament
About The Tournament
Now in its third year, the PUC Charity Golf Tournament has become a signature event for golfers and community champions alike.
Over the past two years, the tournament has welcomed 144 golfers and 20 dedicated volunteers each year for an unforgettable day on the green, raising more than $45,000 in support of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) of Algoma.
We’re proud to return in 2026 in support of the Sault Area Hospital Foundation, continuing our tradition of connection, camaraderie, and community impact.
Join us as we tee off once again, making a difference, one swing at a time.
About The Sault Area Hospital Foundation
Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) plays a critical role in supporting the healthcare needs of Algoma. Every year, SAHF aims to provide the Sault Area Hospital (SAH) with $5 million to replace aging equipment, invest in innovative technology, and fund expansion of services where possible.
Donations from the annual PUC Charity Golf Tournament will support SAHF’s Area of Greatest Need fund. The Area of Greatest Need is an unrestricted fund, meaning that SAHF can allocate funds where they are needed most. Patient care is almost never isolated to one area of the hospital. Supporting the Area of Greatest Need ensures every department has the tools they need to provide outstanding care to every person in Algoma.
