Canada Post Service Delays
What You Need to Know
As negotiations continue between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, customers may experience delays in mail delivery.
What This Means for Your PUC Account
These delays may impact the delivery of your PUC bills and the processing of any payments sent by mail. Please note that it remains your responsibility to keep your account in good standing, even during postal service disruptions.
Stay Up To Date With E-Billing
To avoid any billing delays, we recommend switching to e-billing. It’s quick, secure, and ensures you receive your bills on time. You can enroll in one of two ways:
- MyPUC App: Download and link your bill to the app. Once linked, you will automatically be enrolled in e-billing.
- Customer Connect Portal: Sign up directly through the portal.
Additional Payment Options:
- Sign Up For Pre-Authorized Payments: Automatically pay your bills on time.
- Sign Up For Equalized Payment Plan: Spread your payments evenly throughout the year.
Cheque Payments:
If you prefer to pay by cheque, you can use our drop-off box located at 500 Second Line East (cheque payments only). We advise against mailing payments to avoid delays, late fees, or potential collection activities.
Plan Ahead:
PUC encourages all customers to use available digital and alternative payment methods to avoid delays associated with traditional mail during this time.
