Public Notice: Temporary Traffic Impacts on Third Line East

Sault Ste. Marie, ON (October 21, 2026) — Residents and commuters are advised that system upgrades are currently taking place on Third Line East between Great Northern Road and Old Garden River Road. Work is expected to continue until late November.

This work is needed to rebuild a section of the 35 kV line in the area. As a result, traffic delays may occur. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes, allow for additional travel time, and exercise caution when travelling near the work zone. Flaggers and traffic-control measures are in place to guide drivers safely through the area while crews are working.
