PUC’s Golf Tournament Raises $46,000 for the Sault Area Hospital Foundation

Sault Ste. Marie, ON (July 29, 2026)– The fairways were filled with more than great golf on Friday. They were filled with generosity, community spirit, and a shared commitment to improving local healthcare.

PUC Services' 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament raised a record $46,000 for the Sault Area Hospital Foundation, making this year's event the most successful yet. The total surpasses the combined fundraising efforts of the tournament's first two years and brings the event's three-year fundraising total to more than $91,000 for local charities.

A sold-out field of 144 golfers representing 36 teams gathered at Crimson Ridge Golf Course for a day of friendly competition, great food, local treats, and plenty of laughs, all with one goal in mind: giving back to the community.

"Each year this tournament continues to grow, and so does the impact we can make together," said Rob Brewer, President & CEO of PUC Services Inc. "Raising $46,000 is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the generosity of our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and employees. We're grateful to everyone who helped turn a great day on the golf course into meaningful support for healthcare in our community."
The tournament was made possible through the support of dozens of local businesses and organizations, including platinum sponsors Survalent and PUC (Transmission) LP, whose contributions helped ensure every dollar raised could make an even greater impact.

“Thank you to PUC for their partnership, and for choosing Sault Area Hospital Foundation to receive the proceeds of this year’s tournament,” said Teresa Martone – Executive Director, Sault Area Hospital Foundation. “This donation will be put toward critical medical equipment needed at Sault Area Hospital this year. We’re grateful to every sponsor, volunteer, and golfer who participated – your support is helping make outstanding care possible.”

PUC Services extends its sincere appreciation to every sponsor, golfer, volunteer, employee, and community partner whose generosity made this year's tournament an unforgettable success.
