Road Work Notice: Temporary Disruption at Second Line W and Allen’s Side Road

Sault Ste. Marie, ON (March 18, 2026) — Residents and commuters are advised that road work will begin at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the intersection of Second Line West and Allen’s Side Road, due to a watermain break.

PUC Services Inc. will be completing necessary repairs within the intersection, resulting in temporary traffic disruptions. Allen’s Side Road South will be closed to traffic, and work in the intersection may impact traffic flow in all directions. Repairs are expected to be completed by late evening on Thursday, March 19.

Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes, allow for additional travel time, and exercise caution when traveling through the area.  Appropriate signage and traffic control measures will be in place to help guide drivers safely.
