Throughout the year, our employees attended numerous events around the city. In 2024, we attended Rotaryfest, Emergency Preparedness Week, The Queen Street Cruise EV Showcase, Kids Being Kids Packback Giveaway, World Water Day, Grade Eight Grads and many more. PUC Charity Golf Tournament

The PUC Charity Golf Tournament, now in its third year, has become a key community event bringing together golfers and volunteers. Over the past two years, it has raised over $45,000 for the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) of Algoma. In 2026, the tournament will return to support the Sault Area Hospital Foundation, continuing its mission of community connection and charitable impact.

Student Safety Awards

Each year, PUC presents the Student Safety Awards to recognize student leaders who go above and beyond to promote safety in their schools.

As a trusted community partner for over 100 years, PUC is dedicated to building safer communities through education. The Student Safety Awards honours one student per participating school for their outstanding leadership and commitment to safety. Each selected student receives a plaque and a small gift as a token of appreciation for their ongoing commitment to safety.

By celebrating young safety leaders, PUC hopes to inspire more students to make safety a priority every day.
