Student Safety Awards
PUC Grade 8 School Safety Award Criteria
Student who has demonstrated an effort to enhance their education and
awareness regarding health and safety.
Examples can include:
- Completed projects related to health and safety.
- Helped a fellow student avoid a dangerous situation.
- Follows health and safety protocols and sets an example for fellow
students. - Models good citizenship, contributing to a safer school community.
- *does not necessarily need to relate to electricity.
How it works:
- Each participating school would select a Grade 8 student to be the recipient of the award based on the above criteria.
- The school will notify PUC by May 14, 2025 who the recipient will be.
- The school notifies PUC of the time and date of the Grade 8 Graduation.
- A PUC representative will attend the graduation ceremony to present the award (plaque and gift) to the student.
- PUC will then have the plaque made engraved with the student’s name and drop it off in advance of the graduation date.
