PUC Services Inc. Reminds Customers of Winter Energy-Saving Tips and Financial Assistance Programs Available 

Sault Ste. Marie, ON (February 20, 2026)—PUC Services Inc. is urging parents and caregivers to keep children away from snowbanks that form under power lines. As challenging winter conditions continue to bring an exceptional amount of snow, these large snowbanks can elevate children to a height where they are dangerously close to live power lines.

Sault Ste. Marie, ON (February 4, 2026)—PUC Services is marking the 31st year of its long-running Caution & Chance electrical safety program, an interactive initiative that has educated more than 50,000 local students on the importance of electrical safety.

Sault Ste. Marie, ON (January 26, 2026)— PUC Services Inc. is proud to announce that $8,240 was raised for Christmas Cheer through its annual e-billing campaign, which ran from November 24 to December 24, 2025. In addition, PUC successfully collected and donated more than 300 toys to Christmas Cheer following a community toy drive held from November 24 to December 4.
